Wait for You (Wait for You, #1)

Wait for You - Jennifer L. Armentrout, J. Lynn BEWARE OF POTENTIAL SPOILERS

I'm not sure it's a 5 star book, but I've enjoyed so I might exaggerate just a tiny bit.
Plot is not really an original one, probably we read several similar stories. Even better ones.
Characters a fun. You get your hot, dimple guy as always with a common name (Cameron).
(I've liked the Avery name, though:))
Dialogues are pretty entertaining and fun to read. (Jeremy is really funny:)
Raphael is simply the best :):)

Despite the tragic background story that hovers all the way, and you practically figure it out pretty soon, somehow I've missed the edge.
Okay, it's painful, and life-altering, and personality change, but still Avery... I don't know... she was strange how she tried to be a tragic female character, lost on her way of life.
For me, she wasn't complex enough, or tragic enough. I've read way more better character describing stories with similar or more tragic plots (like The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden, or Hopeless for example).

So, yep, I've exaggerated this book alright, but it might caught me in a good mood where I got wrapped up in the story nevertheless. It's a shame it wasn't "edgy" enough when it comes to characters.
